The financial review is an examination of the financial records and transactions to ensure that receipts have been accounted for and expenditures have been properly recorded. Financial reviews conform to the Free State PTA bylaws. Per the bylaws, Free State PTA requires PTAs to submit a copy of the financial review within 120 days after the close of the fiscal year (June 30th).
A PTA’s financial records must be reviewed at least annually or as there is a change in Treasurer or any other officer with signatory authority on the bank account(s).
